"All the time Live records my input with almost a 16th note in 120 bpm."
+ Meant to say: It records with a 16th note delay in bpm 120.

Major Latency Issue on Live 8.2
Hi Abes
I'm having major issues with latency in live since version 8. I've been reading around the forum and tried everything. Setting down the buffer sample to almost nothing (crackling like h...) and upping the in/out samplerate to 96.000 saving and downing to 44.000, still nothing. All the time ...

Re: iPad apps that work with live?
TouchOSC and MRMR are very cool. You will need a third program to transform the OSC signals til MIDI. I use Max/MSP for that, but I know there are som freeware out there, that can do it simple.

Re: With all this glitchy, wobbly and techy music.......
What I find hillarious about this topic is, that pressing some of the links in the sigs at the people rooting for more melody and soul in music, you get directed straight in to trancy/dancy club music, without a single melodic frase in it. Dear friends, making a bassline or a synth stab at cuepoints ...

Re: Putting marks in clips
Good Question.
I don't prepare to much before I head out playing, just for the flexibility of it. The thing is, though, I would like that when I import a full song into my clipsession, then the .asd file would remember me playing that song earlier, and have colored settings of the arrangement of ...

Putting marks in clips
Hey Ableton.
I've been doing more and more dj-sets in Live, and I've really missed the opportunity to set marks in my songs in clipview. It would be cool if you could set marks in the clips for e.g. intro, vers, chorus and so on. Or just color the different parts of the songs. The alternative is ...

Yep. I'm from copenhagen. Been using Live since number 4. Been thinking about starting a similar topic for some time now, to see if the danish Live users could figure out something, like maybe a laptop battle or something.

Re: any Reaktor + Kore users ?
I'm probably gonna have a lot of hassle for this, but I don't understand what the problem with Reaktor is. As I see it, Reaktors strength is exactly the ability to change and edit the synthesize functions and create modules of samplers and synthesizers. So why in the world would you lock it up in a ...

I can't wait anymore, have a couple of patches I'm dying to try out.

Re: Live Performance Input Please
I would go for the Ableton/interface/pedal setup, instead of a loopermaschine. If you progress in your computerskills, youll find Ableton much more fun and versatile then a simple looper. And with Max for Live comming up, theres no guessing what kind of applications that will add to the Live ...
