Axiom 49 + Pitch Wheel +MIDI ?
Is there some sort of trick to record midi using the pitch wheel on the axiom 49. Ableton receives the midi signal when I use it but it doesn't actually record it. I have no problem recording midi with any other fader/knob/modulation wheel on the axiom. saw a previos post but no replies. I'm on 8 bt...

Swicthing Drim Kits while playing live
Can anyone suggest the best way to do so. Trying to be able to choose kits(custom) on the fly, without having to cycle thru a list or use hands too much.

Audio Buffer Crash
Live is constantly crashing when i try to change the buffer size while in a set. I do not try to change the buffer during playback either. This happened quite a bit on 7 as well. It seems i can only change the buffer size when the set is closed. I'm on a macbook core 2 duo, running latest live, digi...

I'm not really sure if you can do that exactly the way youre thinking, but here are some ideas. #1 Control Aid allows you to do this with it's "clip fill mode". Control Aid is Mac only. #2 A rack idea that could get the job done. Put your samples into a drum rack, so each one gets it's own simpler....

I'll take a stab at this, but i am not in front of ableton so i might be off, but i think this is a work around.........say you have sample that is 90 BPM originally, and you want it too loop in a 120 BPM track. While you session is set to 120 BPM, turn the warp off, resample the sample. The new sam...

alternate triggering clips in same channel
I have a drum pad assigned to trigger the highlighted clip in a channel. There are two clips in the actual channel (both snare ghost notes). How would I set it up so that when the pad is hit it will play the first clip and the next time the pad is hit it will play the 2nd clip, then the first the ne...

Your problem, since you have been playing unsynced, is that even though all things may start simultaneously you have no real idea of what tempo you're at, so the next launch, which will also be at 1-bar will, quite possibly, be out of sync again. ...this is why I never go unsynced... it's a bitch. ...

changing global quantization while playing live question
I'm playing along side a live drummer. So to start i'm firing clips and the global quantization is set to none. After a while the drummer and myself are bound to be out of sync with arrangement counter. Only the very first clip started exactly on the downbeat and 1.1.1. Next I switch back to global ...
