I want to get a new notebook, but most new machines are coming with Vista preinstalled. are there any issues with installing Windows XP on these machines? The guys at the store keep telling me that its not advised , that the new notebooks are designed for Vista etc... but I really need to have XP ...

I would like to know what makes Mac's more stable over PC's for Dj'ing with Ableton Live in particular. I'm assuming its more stable as many International DJ's ( PVD, Sash, Carl Cox , Richie hawtin,Mathew Dear) seems to be using a Macbook running Live, Traktor, Serato etc.

I cant see anything on the M-Audio X-session web page though.

Just badly need to get hold of a copy of Live Lite for the moment.
