OK, need some help here.

Im wondering if there is a way to select an input on a track and bulk change it everywhere (ala option key in Pro Tools)... ? I know with soloing tracks, I can hold the command key down to get multiple, but even more this, is there a key command to have EVERYTHING do what ...

Oh, and BTW--- how do you all set your Decoding Cache? And multicore/multprocessor support on or off for those intel mac users? Ive heard to turn that off to solve the drop outs with the firepod. Never made a difference in my case (or seemed to).

Yes, hard drive space is a big one I guess, I usually try to keep 5-6 gigs free, perhaps thats not enough.

Also, when I was referring to ms earlier, I mean't samples. So, in an ideal case of the buffer size not freaking things out with my firepod/macbook, I have a latency around 15-20ms. Way too ...

Your problem sounds very familiar to mine. I have a mac book with 1g ram and am about to upgrade to 2g. I also am using a presonus firepod (or fp10 as its now called).

I had dropout hell for weeks with the firepod. Also, the music would only play/record at around 700-1000ms ...

I just downloaded an Apple software update for tiger today that said it updated the Firewire firmware. I have heard some rumors that this is the problem. Not sure if thats true or what.... Will test again tonight.

Also, heard some rumors this is resolved in Leopard OS-X 10.5 Been holding off to ...

So, a few months ago I purchased a Firepod. Im using with my 6 month old MacBook. Worked like a charm for a while. But now, for the last several weeks I get HORRIBLE latency issues, drop outs, crackles, etc.... I have read 30 + pages of forums with no idea of what to do. I'm using it with Ableton ...

Anyone know.... Was this implemented in Live 7?
Im going to be SOOOOOO bummed to have to wait if its not.

Please!!!!!!! I am desperate for this feature. Its my 1 big gripe with Live.

How can I group faders in Live? I have my mixing running hot but sounding good and want to turn ALL faders down equally as to not mess up my mix.

Help, Im stumped.

Granted TAB should not be replaced for what it does currently, its more the FEATURE i am consered about having vs. what hot-key makes it happen.

That is EXACTLY it. The Tab key that brings you to the next clip edge exactly as you have said.


Are you sure he knows what we mean? "Clip edge' in Live means edge of a live audio or MIDI clip

Just to be clear and make sure I understand right: in Pro Tools, the TAB key makes the insertion mark jump to the next edit point right? Means, to the next clip edge? Is it what you are talking about?
