I have a macbook pro and I'm thinking about switching to windows. Not for the OS but to save money perhaps. I was wondering what everyone's using and looking for recommendations for solid live performing machines? Any suggestions?

I also kind of curious if anyone knows how using a touchscreen ...

is the "moog sound" overrated?
which sound?
the classic funky creamy smooth bass sound?
point is it makes different kinds of sounds...and its known for a particular character of sound. if you really seek that particular sound than its not overrated its exactly what you want.

it seems like it should..but (if you haven't already) i would contact their support and ask them if they know whether or not it works in live...or if you can possibly get a demo since whether or not you purchase it, may be contingent upon whether or not it will work.

in 5 or 6, try removing massive and then freezing the battery audio and export for use in another project..then vise versa. remove battery and freeze massive- export

by remove meaning: remove the vst/dll before trying to open the project.

thanks for the input... I use a sub with my set up..but my friend is adamant about not using one...so to clarify a bit..i have read reviews of monitors that say they lack bass and that you pretty much need a sub with them..for instance the maudio b5a's.

for the time being I like to be able to use key commands in live, more than I need the bug fixes addressed in 3.0.2

yea using the same setup you described i can confirm I am having similar problems in Live 5.2 w Battery 3.0.1
