Folks,

Does anyone know if it's possible to send MIDI patterns to old hardware sequencers. Have an Alesis MMT8.

Essentially this is recording MIDI from live to the hardware sequencer via MIDI cables. First attempts have failed but I have noticed a few MIDI settings in Live... anyone have any ...

great thread. i'm going into mastering on monday after an album i've been working on for a few years, all in live 6 =) - yeah can't afford upgrade just yet.

can someone recommend what to do here. most of my project sets contain a mixture of 44.1/16 bit and 48k/24 bit. what should i render to? or ...

a 25 key midi controller keyboard weighing 4 lbs (eg: oxygen eight)...

...being able to comfortably sit on a quiklok type shelf that clamps on to a regular mic stand...

thanks to some good folks here (sorry, lost thread) i've got the cue/monitoring function working. its kinda cool. tempo/click is fed to drummer only, sequencing to drummer and PA.

i'm used to boosting the DB of audio files (wavs/aiffs etc) big via clip properties, and using faders in main mixer ...

just got a brand new rode nt2000... have tried running it through two soundcards - tapco usb and edirol fa-66 both with of course, phantom power switch on. getting nothing. soundcards work fine with everything else. dynamic mics work fine too and show up in ableton no issues.
