perhaps the idea of having the rescan button in "options" is to prevent an accidental rescan at a crucial moment ;)

I've got thousands and of plugins and it is a VERY long task to get Live to rescan them all (especially since some of them do NOT behave in Live currently...so the scan has to be ...

first- I am currently happy running 8.1.1, but have seen some new goodies that require 8.1.3 to run them...
I see that the file size for 8.1.3 is over 600MB 8O ...
I also see that the file size for the 8.1.4 beta is less than 100MB...
my questions:
1. why is 8.1.3 so huge?
2. do I need to have 8.1.3 ...

as it stands presently- simple delay has two modes: time delay and sync delay.

When simple delay is in time delay mode, it is possible to create an envelope in arrangement view, copy that envelope and paste it to a session view clip
OR
you can also just draw unlinked envelopes for your "time ...
