Re: Launchpad to much dependent on Live DAW / please read!

i'm not sure if you guys are interested in this, but i've been working on a standalone reaktor ensemble that uses the launchpad as a drum sequencer. it also works in Kore to control other plugins:

Re: NI plugins still does not accept any keyboard inputs

apologies again for resurrecting an old thread and then wanting it to die silently.
i figured out my problem.

for future reference, when rebuilding a windows system, don't delay unchecking "hide extensions for known file types" in the 'folder options' ... Options.txt.txt will do you no good!

Re: NI plugins still does not accept any keyboard inputs

apologies for resurrecting the old thread, but I'm having this same problem in Kore 2. I have the Options.txt file, all other NI plugins are getting their keystrokes, just not Kore 2.1, Live 8.0.5

anybody else ? (in XP)

the thing is that i am often inspired to add a device once i start recording, and then there's no indication about when I did it..

record the insertion of a device when recording arrangement

apologies if something like this has been suggested, but I wish that when I drag a device onto a track while recording an arrangement that it would register in the recording.. maybe automate 'device on' ?

You could get a little phatty (it has CV inputs) and then spend the rest of your budget on modular components to complement it.

vst incompatible with audio driver

I have a set that will only load if the audio device is turned off. After it's loaded, I can turn the audio back on, and everything works fine.

Is it possible that a 3rd party VST has an incompatibility with the audio driver or something like that?

Any ideas how I can sort out this problem? (Win ...

video stopped working

I was working on adding audio to a video with b9, and at one point when I reopened Live, the video didn't work anymore.

I got the audio fine, but the video preview window just showed a green screen.

It seemed like everything ran poorly when that green window was open too. I never did get that ...

If your midi track is routed to reason>redrum, it's the Midi Ctr envelope for CC #3.
In Live 6, at least, this is relabeled 'pattern select', but if it's not just use #3

the CC value corresponds to the pattern number

only the au trackplug can do external sidechaining. on the wavearts forum, they said it wasn't possible to do this with VST, but that seems wrong.

I will work on narrowing down the problem. I wouldn't be surprised if it were some weird interplay between Reaktor and Kore.

I can send you a project file that exhibits this behavior.

very slow loading set with dragged-and-dropped midi track

XP Live 5.2.1:

I have a set with 3 tracks:
1) plain old audio 2) Kore midi track 3) kontakt 2 track..

Everything here works fine and behaves normally.

If I drag Reaktor 5 to create a new track (and load splitter ensemble, for the record), closing Live and reopening this set both take a very ...
