I'm still new to mixing, however I do know that I am suppose to have all my individual sounds on separate channel strips. What do I do when I have an audio loop that features several drum parts on one channel strip? To be more clear how do I mix a loop with a kick snare and toms? It does not matter...

For my mixes, I want to set track markers for each song that is mixed in, so that track numbers will show up in a cd player or media player. However, I want it to be seamless. Whenever I record in 6.0.7 from an outside source, no matter if I am recording vocals or from my turntables, there is clipping. I have a AP audio condenser mic. It is a pretty decent mic, but for some reason when I record, the S ( Sibilance) is being picked up very strongly and there is a lot snake-like feedback( but not like your regular feedback, sounds like air with Ss). I need to get rid off it, but of course my monitors...

I have a ableton set that I have been using for a month now, and in the file, I had certain midi sounds assigned to my Korg Kontrol pad. ..I come to open the file today and they are gone. How could this have happend?..I have been using the file for the longest without any issues...can I recover them...

I think what I was asking people took it on as being huge, but I just wanted some basic points from a ABLETON point of view.
