First step - somehow develop an incredible singing voice.

As that one is going to be nigh on impossible, I'd give up on trying to recreate the sound after that! Sorry, I'm being flippant, and I'm not going to be a huge help here cos I'm no effects wizard.

But to my ear it sounds as though there ...

I use the FL step seq. for my beats, with 64 steps, set to loop through one sequence over and over, and a dummy track with like 40 minutes of blank piano roll so that it will keep looping through the step seq. for a long time. As I mentioned, I use multiple rewire out channels for FL to seperate my ...

I'VE SHIFTED THIS THREAD TO BUGS, WHERE I SHOULD'VE PUT IT TO START WITH.

CHEERS FOR HELP.

Its R4 btw, and apparently a bit buggy for others too, so for now it's gonna have to live re-wired from FL studio host.

Cheers guys
I guess I can't moan too much, cos R4 works perfectly well hosted in FL Studio, so I can always re-wire into Live ... but that's a shame when I shouldn't need to!

Much as I love FL Studio I just can't see myself using it very much any more, except as a beat box ... like it started life ...

Trouble with Reaktor in 5.03

I posted this over in general, apologies.
does this link work: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34885&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

Anyway, just upgraded from 3 to 5.03, and it's best thing I've done in ages.

Especially happy with VST support ... EXCEPT the one instrument ...

I've never changed a thing in the set up of Reaktor. When running it within FL it happily squirts audio wherever it's supposed to to make a nice noise, so I've assumed it's always been set up right by default.

Anyway, if I understand you right i'm going home now to do something like this:

Launch ...

let me reply later tonight, I'd love any help you can offer!
It also seems to make Live crash awfully shortly afterwards, so something's not very happy.

cheers ...

Trouble with Reaktor in Live 5

OK, yesterday I upgraded from Live 3 to Live 5, and it could be the best 99E I've ever spent.
Every little irritating idiosyncracy that's ever bugged me has gone, to be replaced by exactly what I wished was there from the start:
Right clicking in Windows... simple Mono/Stereo in-out options ...

Hey stuart - loved your tracks. specially the first clip. hope you don't mind me recalling Lackluster - that's a compliment in my book.

double bass

me too.
waiting for an excuse to buy golden trinity/bass max mic-and-piezo pick up from Bob Gollihur in the US.
long used a polytone pick up wired thru pre-amp and then a bass stomp box (Zoom), but still takes EQ and stuff to model sound anywhere near realistic.
check out his web site, read the ...

Cheers Mr Burnt.
Appreciate it.
Pretty sure I'm set to ASIO, but I'll do a thorough check.
Maybe time to re-install the Ozone.

my sluggish rewire

Windows XP
P4 2.66 GHz
512 MB DDR
60GB 7200rpm 8MB Cache

It's a lovely little thing, from NU Systems (UK), very nice people.
Processor struggles a bit if I get too heavy with Reaktor, but otherwise gobbles up my doodling.

I've tried turning off all the processor heavy stuff and graphics and ...

FL / Live rewire latency problems

Latency's good when playing audio direct into Live.
But when I'm rewired to FL it stinks, like 1/4 second or something.
As does midi signal from VSTs in FL.

Playing into M-Audio O-zone sound card.
Midi-Ox doing the routing, though all I do is set Midi input to FL as Yoke 1.

Is there somewhere ...
