Is anyone using Ableton as an instrument inside of Luna? Probably seems silly for those who like the sequencing/arranging capabilities of Live, but I just can't get my head around Live's workflow, but I really like Luna's linear simplicity. I'm aware that I'm in the minority.

Is anyone using an old Roland Handsonic HPD-15 as a midi controller for Live 10? I just acquired one and am using a cheapo Hosa Midi to UBS converter to control sounds in Live, but it is a struggle to map this thing to a very basic drum rack. Is the HPD-15 obsolete for this purpose?

Try renaming .midi to .mid, it should work.

I am new to using StaffPad and am trying to export midi files from it and import them into Ableton. I am having no luck so far. The midi file exports as ".midi" format and is "greyed out" when trying to import into Ableton. Drag and drop doesn't work either. Any idea what I might be doing wrong here ...

Great video, and I agree completely...many of us would likely appreciate a similar video showing the most efficient way to get projects/stems/tracks from Ableton into Pro Tools.

Is there really no way to back save to an earlier version of Live for collaboration purposes? In 2018?

thanks, I think the Eventide pedals allow CV pedals to be used to control selected parameters.

Any thoughts on buying an inexpensive midi volume/expression foot controller, primarily for Eventide effects (Pitchfactor, Modfactor, Timefactor...) Anyone happy with a midi foot controller? In other words, is this garbage?
