well if i'm not mistaken, since reaktor is loaded in live as a vst, it cannot receive midi input b/c its not a vsti... live doesn't support vsti. correct me if i'm wrong everyone.

I would like to plan some sort of a "tour" for this summer, but I don't know where to play. I was hoping I could find some shows in the northeast USA to play this summer... Does anyone know of anything that's going on? I am really excited to possibly play this summer and travel around ...

does anyone know if anyone has created some sort of usb to midi drivers for the mixman dm2? this product is a piece of crap when it comes to the software included with it, but if someone wrote some osx drivers to convert its usb signals to midi, it'd be a perfect controller for live! i picked one up ...

I'm sure you've read all the stir lately about Linux and its possibilities with pro audio. I am very excited about this entire idea because of the fact that it is a win-win situation. Intel-based hardware is much cheaper than Macintosh hardware, but Linux offers stability on par with that ...

no prob astro. i don't understand ibooks... people seem to be having all kinds of different problems... they're generally the same machines... whatever hehe....

my performance in os9 completely sucks... i cant get my us-428 to work at all in 9... works pretty well in x for me. i dunno what is wrong with it lol... i never have good luck with computers

i know this is an ableton forum, but how is this software? i know it supports rewire, so it might be a decent companion to live. i also know the learning curve is very steep. any users of max/msp out there, can you give some perspective on this?

apple just released the 10.2.2 update for jaguar. i haven't installed it myself, but i wonder if it'll increase the very horrible stability of usb audio in jaguar? we shall soon find out. tell us all about your experiences with the new software.

ahhhh the feel of buying an ibook one month ago and now apple releases the new ibooks and tibooks, dropping the price of mine to $999. it's kinda sad...

but seriously, the new apple laptops look to be very promising... check them out.

if you just transpose the clip up or down accordingly, it reduces the distortion created by the time stretching process... so in essence, this feature is in live, just not a "feature."

yeah! this would be of great help... anyone have a solution to this?
