Live9 - Max midi effect: Envelope (from MaxForLivEssentials)

I would like the Max midi effect called "Envelope.amxd" to be modified to include a switch for it to begin: Attack from the amplitude of the Release .

The reason: As it exists now, when applying the Envelope to Track Volume, an audio click/glitch (unpredictable in nature) can be heard as the ...

I'm an Apple Tech.. I've gotta say that I've seen first hand more problems with the MacBook range than the MBP range. My main advice is whichever machine you get, make sure you buy the Apple Protection Plan - once it's outta warranty it will cost a bomb to repair!!

The other thing is that no matter ...

I have one, and like you faced the same choice. After seeing these vids I walked out and got one that day. In the past I had an MPC 2000 which was a wiked piece of kit. I haven't been ...

yeah.. but imagine a wacom controlled with your fingers.. not one but 2 or three fingers. we need multi touch for the full evolution of software synthesis.

I have to credit the Limur.. I just wish I could afford one

limitations: no tactile feedback. A static surface forces you to become repetitious and therefore your cellular memory kicks in and you become one with the gear = better performance. a houndred thousand dj's can't be wrong

offerings: like playing with modular synthesizers.. if you've ever done that ...

Faderfox drivers>? where are they?

Just wondering if Ableton will ever release Faderfox drivers? What does everyone else think?

I've gotten by and will continue to.. just be good to see Ableton respond to these worthy surfaces.

just wait for multi touch macbook or similar.. then the whole world will change. that circle synth (made by FAW) looks as though it's designed with that in mind.

Drumracks - feedback

The drumracks are a great improvement in terms of audio. But I feel that the midi has been overlooked...:

It would be great to have the midi content of each pad visible in it's own clip. Perhaps recording it first into the main clip and then via the use of the "Chain-Mixer-Fold-Button", spooling it ...

I agree with the option to turn it on or off. Also I've gotta say that I'd really like to see vector editing so that perhaps you could record cc's into live and it would automatically convert the recording into (say 3) different qualities - 'untouched', 'moderate', 'refined' - then it would be easy ...

I've not long installed Leopard and am running it on a 2.16GHz MacBook Pro w 1.5GB RAM. I played a DJ gig on Sat night and it crashed mid set. Under Tiger running the same set it would perform better. There was midi lag and minor sound distortions on the main-out. Problems that I had w my old iBook ...

Well.. actually - imagine having a step sequencer that could be controlled from something like a Korg EMX1? or similar external gear.

As for long-time listener.. you chump! Your like an A440 - often heard, never layed down in a track!!!
