You can map scene launch, scroll up/down (buttons) and scroll up/down (rotary) in midi mapping mode.

go into midi map mode and look at the four squares below the scene launch buttons in the master channel

Also you can map a button to trigger and stop the selected track per channel

Q: Using Ableton, Virus Control and Novation Automap

In theory I'm looking at adding a Virus Snow to my setup and using Novation's automap with the Virus Control to overcome the more mnml interface of the Snow.

Just wondering if anyone has used these 3 together.

I'm guessing you haven't go the toggle settings correct.

When you press the button does it say "on" or "off" on the lcd screen or nothing at all?

If you are setting buttons to your mutes for eg you will need to set toggle to on on the controller

If you can get a copy of ohmboys delay it has a sustain button which you can map to midi and/or automate. It's what most people use
