Hi!

Can anyone tell me how I can transpose a complete song with just a click? I need e.g. the pitch-plugin but with a real destructive transpose of all midi-clips. In Cubase you can select all clips, right mouse-button, transpose and the midi clips get transposed.
But with ableton it is still am ...

Thank you for your reply. But what I want is to really change the pitch in the clips as it is possible in cubase & Co. Is there a third party plugin that can do this?

I need a plugin like the pitcher-plugin with an "apply" button so that the midi-tracks will all be changed e.g. 2 semitones up.

I have so much problems with my macbook pro 2015 i7, 16gb. The CPU Load is horrible.
So I want to buy a new machine.

Would a mac pro with 6 core, 32gb Ram be a better choice?
Or are 8 cores much better and necessary?

I select an external Instrument - I use a jv1010 for Testing. Well: On Midi-Out-Port 1 all works fine. Midi-Data is received by the JV.

So that i can play my song, have several controllers and each controller only controls one specific VST Plugin like it is a real synth.

The most important Features, that are missing is some sort of Chord-Track and the ability to analyse audio and midi-tracks and show the used chords of analysed songs.

Ok - sorry - I found it! For those who don`t know how to cut audio: Click directly in the in the arragement view WAVEFORM and press cmd+e .
