this is terrible.

I'm getting the 'Livetoggle.32' or some other random number under undo

I have had this problem before

I can't remember how to fix it

I guess I need to keep a text file of the 10's (maybe 100's) of Ableton problems so that I can fix them when they arise, because the problems are ...

bump, just in case anyone else has this problem? i emailed support about it today.

since I've updated to 8.2.2 I have a problem which occurs randomly among different 3rd party plugins.

while recording in notes (or creating regions in any way really), I get random volume automation written within the region (under the envelopes tab, I think its called "clip automation" maybe)

I am also having buffering / hard disk drop out issues with 'high' track counts (50+)

basically I loaded in audio stems, 3-4 minutes long, 50+ of them, and the hard disk is dropping out and buffering the samples numerous times in a session

I appreciate the back and forth, maybe you can help me with this - is it possible for me to acquire a "program only" update for 8.2 - not 8.2.1 somewhere on the site?

well, I load whole tracks onto ableton all the time. So, until someone in this thread has a cohesive statement in regards to this problem I guess I should not upgrade.

What I am saying - is how am I supposed to know when to upgrade? the main section of the site has a vaugue description of what it ...

in every thread regarding 8.2.1 on the first page of this forum, the only information I am reading is "please contact support"

I am running ableton 8.1.3 on 4 10.6.4 machines and would like to know if I should upgrade. what do you think?

is the only purpose of this forum so that ableton reps can cut and paste "please contact support" into every thread?

I apparantly do not have the 'simpler' live pack installed, and I actually cannot find it on ableton.com/livepacks


i've no idea how I got my library so screwed up, and i don't really care. i'm just ...

how would you go about uninstalling simpler and reinstalling it? I don't even see the seperate live packs for download anymore, just one big "legacy" pack

Hi - sorry if this has been covered, but I searched and wasn't able to find anything for this specific problem.

I manually copied a bunch of stuff from an old library over into a new library. now I have this problem:

when I load simpler patches, they don't load the relevant audio file correctly ...

My Live 7 Library is located in the /music folder on my macbook pro.

my Live 8 library is located in the application support folder.
