If you have a loop active in arrangement you can set the playhead to the start of the loop brace (without selecting everything in the loop) by clicking the start brace marker instead of the bar... the bar is DESIGNED to select all within the loop so you can quickly copy/duplicate sections of the ...

Would you care to explain why everything needs to be highlighted twice over as part of the workflow?

Been looking around online and can't find a way to change the piano roll from always being sharps to being flats instead...

some people said they saw such a thing on an early version of an update but then... umm... where is this feature.

If it's not there yet they are beyond stupid...

how do you make everything in Ableton NOT highlight over and over again when you click on the loop selector just to get the play head at the beginning.. then not only is everything highlighted, it's DOUBLE highlighted... you ALWAYS have to double click just to deselect everything just to be able to ...

Just noticed this extremely annoying and unacceptable problem for this over priced software...

When recording to add automation to a lane that has previous automation added to it (like earlier in the timeline) the automation will jump around BY ITSELF...

I've seen automation lanes I am recording ...

I posted this before so I'm just going to repost what I wrote before, I still have this problem and still do this...

In live 9 I could record with the automation arm on and just go away...drawing in automation lines as the arrangement played. Changing plugin parameters and seeing the automation ...

i eventually made a midi track and armed it just to record a clip so i could keep automating above while i was recording nothing. Not sure if it's just me, but I don't remember Live 9 absolutely needing to have an armed track create a clip while recording.

I hope I'm just missing something but does the clip editor in session mode actually edit clips?
I can only see how it warps a clip and transpose and blah blah blah.... but why can I not select a bar of the clip and duplicate that over the next bar? That's what clip editing would actually be ...
