Using 2 Push Units at once
I have two Push units - one Push 1 and one Push 2. Can I set it up so they both navigate ableton at the same time? At the moment they both navigate the same functions. This article says no :( https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209071969-Push-1-Using-two-Push-1-units-simultaneously Thanks for...

How do you copy clip automation between tracks in arrangement view
on the surface this is a simple one, how do you copy clip automation between tracks in arrangement view. I have clips on track 1 with automation data saved on to macros. As I drag the clip across I am wondering why when I drop it into a new track the automation data disappears. There’s probably a re...

Macro Mappings - Pioneer DJM Filter Design
Hi guys, Looking to develop a patch here which I have read is possible but there was no instruction and I don't know quite where to start. I'm intrested to build this myself for many reasons but I'm relatively new to max so will need a few pointers. Short story, if you know the classic channel filte...

Re: Session View Automation
Yeh solution was simple.....just press select and then press the clip in push.
Having said that I would still love to find out if there is some way for the automation values to remain after the automation clip has stopped

Session View Automation
Hi guys - hit a road bloack here and Im wondering if there's a work around. I have an arrangement clip with automation recorded in it. Lets say for the sake of argument Macro 1 value 0. I can override the automation manually as I want to which is funky. As I move on to the next clip which has no aut...

Delay Workaround - Fx Chains
If I create an effects chain in Ableton and add a delay effectct to that rack, is there anyway to make it behave like a return track? When i feel signal into a delay return, the signal will repeat itself until it naturally fades out. When I feed signal through an effects rack the gain control occurs...

Macro Colours
Hi :) Im wondering if there is a way to send the colour information from Ableton's macro devices to a MIDI device? I have a livid Ds1 and I want to send the macro colour information off individual tracks to each slider. If the tracks stayed static this would be easy - but I want the colours to be re...

Send Macro Colours to MIDI Device
Just a quick one, not strictly push oriented but it is related. Can you send the colours from Macros (instrument/audio effects rack) to a MIDI device? If on a 'Master Rack" furthest to the left I had 3 Macros - Frequency, Delay and Reverb could I colour those separately and see the response on my MI...

Amazing thank you - gonna read this again tomorrow and emulate some of these tests.http://ericbeam.com
You can’t compare EQ’s by matching dials & numbers, You will get different results. If you use an analyzer & match signals/curves you will unveil “the magic”.

Re: Going Native...
The other day I was having this discussion with a reputable engineer, it went a little something like this. If you take 4 different Eq units and boost them at 2K by 4 db then they will all sound different. This was no surprise to me, but he then went on to say its good to have a variety of EQ units...
