Came here to check wether it is possible to set clip’s MIDI program change, bank MSB and bank LSB.

Basically I am trying to replace a hardware sequencer with P3S, but if it is unable to set PC/MSB/LSB on a per-clip basis like it can be done in Ableton Live or any similar standalone DAW like the ...

I want to record audio (with a Zoom LiveTrak L-20) from external synths using an external MIDI sequencer which is also the sync master, but after recording, audio appears ahead by about 1/16th:

you first create a (empty) midi clip of fixed length, and then -with record armed on the midi track- press the overdub record button, and you play the same length of notes, it starts looping past the first length.

Or it might be that the tempo you are setting is faster than the MIDI transmission delay for a message changing 32 pads (i.e. on every click: turn off 16 pads, turn on 16 pads).

The visual clock doesn't even stay on for the full beat, so the maximum tempo is less that what if could be with a full ...

Ideally I'd like to see a special color in cells without stop button. For this probably I'd need to modify the MIDI remote script of Launchpad Pro.

Putting a dummy clip to act as explicit stop button is a workaround, better than nothing...

or also only making copies of clips as a final step to ...

In Ableton Live I think it is quite common to create sequence of clips row-by-row.

When the same clip continues to play also in the next scene, there are two similar possibilities:
- duplicate the clip also in next scene
- remove stop button from next scene

Is it possible to have several clips to play simultaneously in the same instrument? e.g. by extending a device to multiple tracks?

I would like to have clips of different lengths playing simultaneously, e.g. a 1 bar clip for notes, an 8 bar clip for filter cutoff automation, a 32 bar clip for ...

Could you not use a MIDI track with an external instrument pointing MIDI back to your instrument? I use this method for multi timbral operation of Geist and it allows me to use each 8 engines separately and effect each one as I wish, works great!
