I agree. Changing the global midi channel on the fly is probably the way to go.
To clarify, you have one midi controller to control a song specific rack. Then switch to "Song2 Rack", Then "Song3 Rack" etc etc
track 1 I have one specifik instrument rack
Track 2 I use strings and synths where I need ...

Is it just me? Or is anyone else having issues with Performer & Variation?
If it is just me, then I'll shut the front up

I think Iftah, the creator, is a legend & takes his work seriously, with quality control very high.
So it feels weird that this Performance Pack has been released with some many bugs, almost like a beta version.

Annoying really. I thought this was it.
Hopefully an update will be imminent.

It pains me to say this but is Performance Pack fit for purpose? In my experience I'd have to say no.
Specifically the Performer device, which is the only one I've used intensively.
I wouldn't dare use it in any live/performance situation because of it's unpredictability.

The zoom setting was at 120%,
Setting it to 100% seems to have solved them problem

INCORRECT. The problem still persists at 100% zoom, default view.
View makes selected clip the top scene visible, meaning any clips above it are off screen.

I've been having the following issue and curious if other people have been experiencing the same thing and/or if there is something I'm missing that is causing this.

I hear you Davnak. Same problems. When mapping my controllers to the Perform knobs,
"CTRL+D", with Editor screen visible

:? Hard to describe this.....
If I click on a clip in Session view my view changes to position that clip at the top of the screen.
So if there is a clip in scene 5, scenes 1-4 wont be visible when 5 is selected.

This only occurs in Live 12.
If I have only 8 scenes in the project it doesn't ...

Variations in a rack are not a device, but a feature of a rack.

Misunderstood your post. I thought you wanted to control the parameters of the instrument. But you want to control the volume of the rack/chain, I think.
