This is my best attempt at a house track IMO, but I'm still far from where I want to be.
So any criticism is welcome regarding anything, sound quality, structure, sounds...

Help window
In the help window there is a feature that allows you to browse all devices, kits, racks etc that came with a particular livepack.
It would be nice if this feature were expanded so that users could browse racks by what they contain.
For example, I want to see all instrument and effects racks that ...

Re: Just got my new laptop, want to recommend to all pc users
i tweaked it out allot and turned mostly everything off including network and all that.
i spent the 15 hours over the last 24 working on it.
still no luck.. the express card gets here on Saturday, hopefully that does the trick.
in the end i'd really prefer to be able to access my file server ...

Can't freeze a track that has sidechaining?
So, it is possible, cause I do it all the time, I just resample to a new track. So when you try to freeze a track that is routed to or from another track, instead of just not doing it, how about you have an option like this.
A dialog opens up that states "The output of this track is dependent on ...

Zooming track window in arrange view for detailed automation
This is kind of hard to explain.
Suppose you are automating the volume for a track, and are making small adjustments, like 0db to 1.5 db. In the arrange view you can barely see this shift in the orange line, and doing any more detailed automation requires expanding the individual track window. The ...

Re: Just got my new laptop, want to recommend to all pc users
I don't know how much of a difference it made that I disabled alot of unused services, devices, startup items. I set this is up as an Ableton ONLY computer, so literally, even my internal sound i think is disabled, as well as my webcam, sd controller, wifi, modem, anything that isn't for music ...

Re: Djing with live effects - how to stop the volume reduction?
I make an Effects Rack with a delay/reverb whatever in it. i map the dry/wet control to one of the macro controls. if turning the signal to wet lowers the overall volume, i simply insert a utility device into the rack and map the gain to the same macro control, then adjust the range to something ...

my new APC 40 is popping, can anyone help?
I just got my apc40, and there is a cracking/glitchy sound when i hit the clip launch buttons. The only way i can fix this is turning my latency all the way up which puts me about a 1/8 note behind the music. Usually I can run many tracks, multiple instrument racks, synth vst's, external instrument ...

Re: Help: Looking to create"Retro" sounding music
the arturia analog factory has 80's presets for days, but not much tweakability. I've bumped tracks to tape (cassette, haven't tried vhs, but i imagine the sound quality is just too poor) and there are definitely timing problems with long passages which means you will have to warp the audio when you ...
