Don’t RAM-load the whole show if it pushes memory pressure. RAM mode is best used selectively; if Windows starts paging, it can make dropouts worse.

Disable Warp on all stems

High/Best Performance power plan, disable USB selective suspend, disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/cloud sync ...

Is AbleSet running on the same system or on a separate system? How are they connected? If you only use 1 system, are networking services like Wifi disabled?

Project Folder Structure

Every time you save a new track in Ableton, it creates a dedicated Project folder. This folder contains all the data related to that specific song or production.

ProjectName.als: Your actual Live Set file.

Backup: Automatically generated folders containing previous ...

I don't know what the general consensus is but a lot of people consider CleanMyMac unnecessary to say the least... if you really want to delete caches and stuff there's a free tool you can use called Onyx: https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html

Don't know what your setup is, but any installation of Ableton Live never took more than a couple of minutes

Duplicate your current 12.2 app in Finder and rename it. Then, install (copy) 12.3, resulting in two versions. You can now use whichever version you prefer, as mentioned earlier, projects created in 12.3 won’t open in 12.2.
