roughly the same question... many the live. objects in max don't seem to have help patches. (live.remote~, live.param~ etc.) would like to get a better understanding of what these objects do.

I noticed that the send controls on the return tracks are greyed out. How do I activate them so I can send audio from one return track to another?

Yes live as the rewire master, and Max as the slave. The reason I asked, is that my friend is able to send midi to live from Max in this arrangement on his Mac. I'm running MAX/Msp and ableton, and after selecting rewire for MIDI output in MAX, I can't seem to select Rewire or MAX for MIDI input in Ableton. MAX and Rewire do not appear in the MIDI setup in Preferences. Any suggestions?
