I recently upgraded from OSX Tiger to Leopard, and have noticed that Ableton now has some issues refreshing it's display.

When switching to other applications and back to ableton, most parts of the UI are whited-out. Switching from session to arrangement or vice versa causes a mostly-full refresh ...

which samples are listed as "missing"? Are they still missing after you save a new Liveset and do collect all & save?

The samples are from the 'consolidated' folder - they are .aif samples created from a .flac source (i.e. a .flac.aif file)

automation envelopes are in dire need of an update

1) support for curves
2) snapping
3) easier "copy & paste" from one session track to another - having to show the automation seperately is a pain - it should be part of the "lock envelopes" option - i.e. choose when envelopes are unlocked to copy ...

When attempting to create a live pack (.alp) from Live 7 (latest update) it falls over trying to add specific samples to the pack.

When returning to the project, these samples are then listed as missing.

Each time I try this the same samples fail to add for each specific project.

I think I've figured out why it's happening

I have an (intentional) fragmentary bar earlier in my session, created by setting a new 4/4 time signature change where a tune has a errant half-bar before it kicks back in

launching from the clip view hits the new start of the bar, but from the sample ...

Every now and again Ableton seems to forget about the quantisation when trying to click on a location, on both the session and arrangement. it's stuck on 1 bar quant, but snapping to half-bar points (beat 2).

changing global quantisation or the quantisation of a clip doesn't seem to rectify this ...

I take this back! Midi messages are getting dropped/confused all over the shop. compared to the templates I had to use before, the control surface support is extremely patchy.. rotating the track select pot produces random skips/jumps and even starts moving clip location, something that ...

I upgraded a few weeks ago to Ableton 7 and was amazed to find native Faderfox support still missing.

Please consider getting an update out there as soon as possible - it seems crazy that faderfox and users of their hardware would be snubbed in this way. Having to use customised default set files ...
