How about midi from clips being able to control any automatable Live parameter? I.e. assigning the cutoff Hz of a filter delay to a midi keyboard and creating your own quantized filter sequence recorded into a clip. Right now, one can only automate that when committing to an arrangement ...

Make sure your launch quantization in the launch box of the clip view is set to "none" or the smallest musical increment if you need to be in sync with other tracks.

Here's a small but bothersome bug. Occaisionally I slave Live to Performer. In Live, I will create an instance of Simpler and load a sample. Performer will "see" the instance via Rewire and will pass Midi but unless I create a clip, record at least one note and then stop the clip, no sound will pass ...
