i mean the backround services whitch i don`t need.there are a lot services on XP and Vista in backround.check the Taskmanager,Processes.

So i dont need internet and all the little programms in backround when i play live for example.
wlanext.exe
mcproxy.exe

in XP i knew what i can turn of,vista is ...

I`ve Windows Vista now,not so bad as i thought.on the first view.;-)

Here`s the question :
if i use two "users",letz call it "multimedia" and "Live",can i set up different backround services for each user ?

if i log on as "multimedia" there is internet and the nice stuff,and in live user "mode ...

i bought it and like it.It`s a 5400rpm harddrive.

Ableton,battery and kontakt workin propper on vista,now i try to clean the vista-sevices :-)
Möbius looper seems to work too,i have to test it.

i think its no good idea to work live with a strange installed win XP.
The only chance to put XP on this ...

no opinion ?

I wanna buy a notebook with firewire for my live pa. but i`m not shure.

I run Live normally on a 2,6Ghz Dual Core with 2 GB DDR2 Ram on XP.
But 2,6 Ghz Dual Core Notebook ( with 4GB DDR2 Ram ) is to expensive i think :-)

I`m comfortable with a 2,4 Ghz Dual Core Laptop,the better cache ...

yes,this works....
i push a button with the mouse,on the bcr the button is turned on!
The LEDs react on changing parameters with the mouse..nice...

with the Rec button too,but this is not my problem

i like the bcr,good controller for 129€...

All ableton knobs/buttons give a feedback to BCR,the only button witch doesn`t work is the !"§$§%$§& REC BUTTON ! ! ! !

is there a way?that sucks.

i have a NANO controll on my MIC stand for livevocals,etc...

It`s so hard to show the REC ARM STATUS on BCR?

Its the same with all of my controllers,BCR,FCB1010 and nano:
I want to use a button to turn the Channel RECORD on,but it reacts every second time only. :-(

I use CC normally, tried midi notes,but for record button nothing seem to work?

There`s a problem with the BCR2000.

Sometimes if i use a knob ,mostly if i do it fast,
i got a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH with diffrent Infos:

IRQ not less or egal, or something with

1x000000000A...etc....

Somebody knows this problem or can help?

in my liveactz i do many livevocalz,distorted,vocoder,pitched,etc...
now the problem:
in the most clubs i`ve many trouble with the FEEDBACK on my microphone.
the gate doesn work right,it`s to loud in the clubs and if it`s open(the gate),often there is a feedback in the same moment the ...

hm,nice tool,but the wrong direction
now i can route MIDI to any PC-Key . . . .BUT I NEED PC-Key to MIIIDDDIIIIIIIII *grrrrrrrrrr*

I want to use the whole PC-Keys ( F1-F12,etc...) as controller-board.
is there any prog for PC to use the PC-Keyboard like a midi-controller?
like Hubis Loopback device or others?
kind of ROUTING the keys to MIDI-Controllers?
would be a easy prog,i think.a little little prog but a BIG BIG ...
