I have the Ableton/Headliner bag as well as the APC. The Headliner Stashpack "sort of" fits the APC, because the APC will stretch the fabric of the bag since the APC is a bit wider than the bag itself.

Hey, what stands are you guys using for your laptops on stage? Is anyone shock mounting? I gotta buy a stand soon. Not too many options out there.

The laptops were just sitting on a table, along with MIDI controllers, DVD player and Pioneer DJM without any shock mounting or anything such like ...

We played a 50 mins set at the Electrionica stage of FOMROZ FESTIVAL 2005 this past weekend.

I have to add that my partner-in-crime at the gig was using Live 4 and her laptopn (also PC) runs smoothly without a glitch. While my Live 5...just stopped...

I played in taiwan last Saturday night and had similar experience. Luckily, the computer did not froze but the clip/tune I was playing just stopped. the pads on MPD is definitely larger and stiffer, kinda hard to explain, apart from the 16 pads layout, the MPD pad just don't feel like the MPC pads at all, at least to me.

still some days i long for the MPD-16 akai midi pads.

Be warned: unlike the pads on the MPCs, the MPD16 pads are large and extremely stiff, so it might take a while to adjust to.
