Then you need a 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TS cable to make that work.

Assuming you're running out to Eurorack, you either need to get one of Expert Sleepers "floating ring" 1/4" TRS to 1/8" TS cables, or something like a Male 1/4" TRS to Dual Female 1/4" TS adapter and only come out of one of the female sides.

Live is triggering the Mother-32’s sequencer when the clip is played.

Make sure “Remote” is turned off on the MIDI output tab for the Mother-32 and that shouldn’t happen.


you're thinking of the "sync" tab probably, ableton is basically sending midi time code to the synth and it's playing it ...

I’ve had issues similar to this in the past, and my issue was due to Windows disconnecting usb ports. I had to uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” for each of the usb devices I was using (particularly a hub). This setting can be found in the Device Manager ...

You're not going to see the FC-300 in the preferences because it can't connect directly via USB. You should see the UM-ONE in the MIDI devices under preferences. That needs to have "Track" selected on its Input section.
