Re: Eurorack timing issue
I always become wary whenever an aggregate device is involved. It seemed like a wonderful thing when they first introduced it way back when, but in practice I have found it not always a reliable way to work (and is why I use all UAD now because when you daisy chain them the OS sees it as one giant ...

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
...many, like purebloods who refused the bioweapon injection, will also try to resist the digital ID...
Though perhaps Ableton is a globalist corporation that will march in lockstep to digital currency, digital ID and complete globalist control... that this is a German corporation and given the ...

Re: Sheet music
Personally, I have never found the notation features included in most DAWs to have the range of features I need, so I have always used Finale and now Dorico for scoring, which I do quite a lot of.
If I need to score something I have already composed in a DAW I will usually do some combination of ...

Re: Optimizing Metronome for 6/8, 9/8, 12/8 etc tempos
Easiest way I see is to substitute 2/4 for 6/8, 3/4, for 9/8, or 4/4 for 12/8, and then make your created click track sound in triplet 8th notes against the simple meter. For example in 9/8, it would be on the 8th notes 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9. Then your created click track combined with the normal ...

Re: Sheet music
Thanks. That is a pity!
You think there is a plan for this in the future?
No, I would not hold my breath for a native notation editor in Live.
For one thing, very few DAWs do have this feature anymore (Logic and Cubase are it, I think), and further development of those systems within those ...

Re: Ableton Live 12 Tuning Problem
Probably an obvious suggestion, but have you tried changing the global key to A major? I have no idea if that has an effect.

Re: Ableton Live 12 Tuning Problem
Looks like you would need to create a custom tuning and change the reference pitch in the Scala file:

Then you need a 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TS cable to make that work.

Re: CV Instrument Pitch issues w RME interface and Roland SH-2
Assuming you're running out to Eurorack, you either need to get one of Expert Sleepers "floating ring" 1/4" TRS to 1/8" TS cables, or something like a Male 1/4" TRS to Dual Female 1/4" TS adapter and only come out of one of the female sides.

Re: Getting a Moog-32 to play MIDI clips
Live is triggering the Mother-32’s sequencer when the clip is played.
Make sure “Remote” is turned off on the MIDI output tab for the Mother-32 and that shouldn’t happen.
you're thinking of the "sync" tab probably, ableton is basically sending midi time code to the synth and it's playing it ...

Re: Losing my mind with Live's poor midi device system
I’ve had issues similar to this in the past, and my issue was due to Windows disconnecting usb ports. I had to uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” for each of the usb devices I was using (particularly a hub). This setting can be found in the Device Manager ...
