You need to adjust the preview/cue volume knob on the master channel.

You can already do this easily. Look at the menu just below the midi output selector. You can choose the plugin that receives the midi.

Drum maps that allow routing of each note to a different midi device would help a lot when making beats that use more than one instrument.
