Anyone have any tips or tricks to mimicking this sound?

There is a Drone sample that I am having a hard time reproducing. Can someone give me some pointers or a preset for Tension to make the background drone as well as the lead drone?

My problem was my anti-virus. I had to 1.) Disable Realtime Protection 2.) Uninstall the Livepacks with the Drums 3.) Drag the packages back into live so they would reinstall. That did it for me.

I did a search but could not find anything specifically on the vocoder in Live 8.

How does it compare with others like Vokator or an actual vocoder say from Korg.

The Vocoder would pretty much be the only reason I would upgrade to 8.

DONT DO IT. The instruction on the internet don't tell you that you can bend the keyboard/top panel and it will never fit again like from the factory. I did this to mine and added a 320. Have someone who works on Macbook Pros for a living do it.

Just my suggestion.

I have one, and once you get it set up, it is good for studio work and triggering clips, levels, effects, etc... The Enigma software is a PITA to use to say the least and I am a software designer by trade so that is saying something.

i've got my padkontrol going into my microkorg going into ableton controlling my softsynths, the problem is that i can control the softsynths from the microkorg but i cannot do so from the padkontrol, even though i can control the microkorgs internal sounds with the padkontrol for some reason the ...
