Re: Q setting for low end roll off?
depends where you are rolling off from . The higher the hz the lower the Q, if you are talking kick or bass. If you are in the mid or upper range you can probably go fairly steep, but still best not to overdo it.
is the default setting of .071 pretty good for anything under 200hz?

Re: xfade assign key map vs midi map = no off assign?
also, anyone know of a way to turn a xfade assignment straight OFF without having to toggle through A->B?
that's a total deal breaker when you want to leave something previously assigned 'A' that was going through the xfade and you play a new track/clip on the same channel (that you want to play ...

xfade assign key map vs midi map = no off assign?
recently switched from using key map for xfade assign to midi map.
question, and i've never noticed this before, but using a midi controller sending pad/button CC in toggle mode (or gate mode) won't ever actually turn the xfade assign OFF, only A or B. it does this fine in key map mode by switching ...

Re: looping in place on the fly in arrange mode?
thanks man, appreciate your time. going to think about the launchpad some more, i have the remote 25sl but i only use it for keys.
unless there's some proprietary business going on with the launchpad, in theory it seems like you (someone) could create a facsimile template of the launchpad layout. i ...

Re: looping in place on the fly in arrange mode?
that's way cool. help me out here with a couple questions about what's going on there... obviously you can only focus one clip at a time, how do you change focus from clip to clip/track to track, or should i say how do you manage that? does it automatically focus the clip last triggered? or can you ...

looping in place on the fly in arrange mode?
is there a way to punch in and out a loop area while performing in arrange mode?
or how to do it in session mode, like if it's a dj set?
is there an easier way than resampling your current master out into an empty session audio clip on it's own row/scene, trigger the clip via scene, and using F10 ...

Re: slice audio to multiple audio files?
hey buzby thanks for the reply. that technique works sort of, it converts the midi slice to audio at the desired fixed grid increment, but unfortunately the flattened audio after freezing is kept at the original 1 bar or 2 bar length and would require additional cropping to arrive at the desired 1/8 ...
