Re: Fix automation and metering latency

i also change latency back and forth quite a bit while i work, so always need to remember at which latency the automations were originally drawn (i make it part of the project name by now)..
it's especially bad when you want to increase latency as the project grows. i always need to predict where it ...

1) look where your kickdrum's (or kick+sine bass) low harmonic is, and make sure no other elements (bassline?) use ...

Re: Free effect plugin for slowing down tempo

right! and you need re-pitch warp mode to get the tape effect.
so you might have to re-sample your entire song, and then cut the part you wanna slow down, and set it to re-pitch (and then automate the master tempo)

Re: Baffled by plugins

BOC's sound is based on sampling. They have been especially inspired by old films & TV stuff, like documentaries by the National Film Board of Canada (even took their band name from that).
So if you're looking for that vibe you should maybe get some 1$ used obscure records, rather than installing a ...

Re: Track Effects

you can do it via audio effect rack: open an empty one and enable the "chain" section (middle one of the three buttons on the left), and in there again the "chain" view. you can set up several independent effect chains and give them kind-of an ID (via the "zone" settings). just apply a 1-number-zone ...

Re: I wish there was a scope behind the LIVE EQ -Any similar vst

how resource intense is fabpro? will it hog too much power if I throw it on all of my tracks?

i don't know your configuration, but it is quite light on CPU.. maybe a bit more than ableton's own, but still very reasonable.
i think fabfilter is offering 30day fully functional demo versions, so just ...
