Am I missing something or is there a glaring omission here?
I love that I can make notes on a custom device or instrument rack etc. by editing the Info View. BUT only in a set. NOT in the browser.
I'd like to browse through my User Library and hover over, or click, and item and see the handy note ...

I want to like the "saved search" feature in the new browser with the tagging functionality. But I find it annoying that everything is automatically put into "umbrella" folders. I'd like for the items that I've tagged (with customs tags) to just show up in my Saved Search without having to open ...

Nope, no saved searches, just the custom tags. I think I'll just recreate them.

After replacing the new library.cfg with the one from the old pc the User Library looks exactly the same.
Still no Saved Searches.
Any other ideas?

No, and No. This did not occur to me as Everything else is as expected. So I guess I'll try your new suggestion (after making a backup of the new file, just in case. I'll report back.

I found that document. I see the names of my custom Tag Categories, but not the custom tags. Although my customs tags do indeed appear in the browser.
What I do not see is any of my Saved Searches that should be on the left side of the browser under Library.

After a fresh install of 12.3.6 on new windows 11 pc I do not have my "Saved Searches" in the browser.
I do have my tags and custom tags which means the User Library migrated successfully.
Is there a file that I need to copy over?

Thanks for the reply, but I did the update long ago. Not sure of the date, but I updated to 12.3 as soon as it came out of beta.
So is it possible that it's indexing again for some reason?

Hello, All! I seems to have a Browser issue.

When I do a search in "All" (CRTL+F) the results do not include items in the User Library.

Example: I have a file in the User Library named "sample 365". When I select the User Library in Places, enter "sample 365" in the search field, it finds it ...

..and, we are back...
Any further ideas?

But this does not allow me to make a custom preset with macros mapped to Drum Sampler parameters.

Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to create a Slice To Midi preset with drum sampler. Wouldn't it be great to have a Slice To Midi preset that puts the slices into a drum rack with Drum Sampler instead of Simpler?

...um... Anyone?

So, if anyone knows how to get IR files ,(copied from the Convolution Reverb Pro files), available in the regular menu in Hybrid Reverb, (not the temporary User folder), please let us know.
