Operator is a nice little 4-operator FM synth. It sounds decent, and it's easier to program than most FM synths.

And that's about it.

I think what gets a yawn from old FM-heads like myself is that it really isn't anything special in it's own right, and certainly not when compared to other FM ...

Remember who invented scsi, firewire... and the original windows :D
SCSI was an ANSI extension to the SASI interface, developed by Adaptec and Shugart Associates, based upon the "OEM Channel" interface on IBM mainframes. It was available on mainframes and several mid-sized UNIX systems LONG before ...

Oh pul eeez

You can get Toblerone - almost any of the varieties - at many stores in the U.S.

USELESS MUSIC EQUIPMENT TRIVIA: The Toblerone package was the inspiration for Ultimate Support's Apex keyboard stand. They even sent a free Toblerone with the first few hundred Apex's shipped (which I ...

Well, let's see ...

...

We've learned that this is the behavior of Live 3.

We've learned that it is corrected in Live 4.1.

And now you are asking if there is some other (magical, perhaps?) way of fixing it without upgrading?

I think that about says it all. Reasonable people can reach their own common-sense ...

D2, yes that is a convincingly expressed argument and I agree to a point , but you do run the risk of taking all your cumulative frustration out on the next person who asks you the time - when no single person is repeatedly asking this of you, it is a different person each time and you should ...

I don't know about the rest of you, but one of the most basic lessons about interacting with people that I learned when growing up, was:

Don't expect anyone to do something for you, that you can easily do for yourself

The social order is held together by what can be called a series of ad-hoc ...

Isn't there anybody here with a brain, except me?

I think this pretty much says it all.

In your self-important imagination, if a program isn't designed to work the you wish it would, then there is some defect on the part of the programmers ... ala: "Why is it so bloody hard for people to make a ...

Why is it so bloody hard for people to learn the basics of their craft and tools before complaining that some bit "doesn't do X"?

I wish people would read manuals and learn what the hell they are talking about before jumping to innaccurate conclusions ... sigh .

(end sarcasm here ...

Clearly you guys don't undstand the "new economy"

As a "consumer", I have the absolute right to:

1) Download anything free from the internet.
2) Have other people read the manual, experiment with the product and develop new techniques for me, and I owe nothing in return.
2) Have everything made perfectly obvious to me, even if I won't (or can't ...
