Here's a tip for Live users interested in running Live on 2 Macs. I've been doing this for some time and have found a GREAT solution for synchronizing my loops (with .asd files), samples, plugins, & sessions between the two computers (a G4 Powerbook and a G5 tower).
The solution is a software ...

'back to arrangement' button enhancement
How about an option to have the 'back to arrangement' button follow the current quantization. This could allow you to be jamming in live and hit the 'back to arrangement' button which would occur on the next quantized bar. A lot more musical that trying to mouse click the button with any rhythmic ...

alias clips
Sorry if this has been suggested in the past (likely Logic users) but I couldn't find it in the forum, and I can't hold my tongue any longer.
THE PROBLEM: You start with one clip (audio loop OR midi). You put it in an arrangement. You copy it somewhere else in the arrangement. You do it again and ...

global editing parameters
OK, this was covered almost a year ago, so let's review;
You should be able to select any number of clips and adjust any parameter globally amongst them. For example, you are working on a piece of music and at some point you decide to change the key. As Live works now, you must select and transpose ...

Sample Offset enhancement
The [Clip: Sample Offset] envelope is one of my favorite features in Live. I've really come to enjoy using IT rather than shuffling beats using a REX player in Reason. It has one shortcoming though; you can only offset a 16th note up to eight 16th note segments backward or forward. This means that ...

Re: Delay Compensation on record
if you take a track and apply some plug ins (or send the track to some external processor) and record the result, there is a delay on the audio. the latency controls in the preferences do not affect this. it only affects the monitoring latency.

Delay Compensation on record
Like many users, I'd like to see delay compensation as an added feature. It should be available in real time and allow for user assignable + & - delays in milliseconds and MIDI ticks (like Logic and others) per track.
It should also be assignable on a recording track to eliminate plug-in and ...
