Hi, I recently aquired a magic touch touchscreen, but because of ableton's normally very appreciated "unlimited volume control" features on its dials and volumes, the control gets a bit crazy and doesn't respond properly...
can this be added as an option to turn this off and have the volumes ...

sending loop position info out to BCR2000
I'm trying to send a loop's position info out to a knob on my BCR2000 (or out to several buttons perhaps)
I don't really know how to do this... theres a plugin i have that when i record into it and loop it off, the position is a midi assignable variable, so the loop position is indicated by the ...

i've given all of these a shot with limited success...
in the clip view, you can clip at the top of the waveform section and it will begin playing from that point... thats really what i'm after, but I don't want to use the mouse, I just want to hit a key.
Preferably I could route the signal out to ...

Loop reordering?
Hi,
I'm trying to find an FX VST (or other method) that lets me record a loop and then press buttons to start the loop at that given point...
IE if I have a loop running, I want to assign 1 - 8 on the keyboard to start the loop at that particular beat...
IEIE if the loops audio was a guy saying ...

Midi Drum off signal too quick after on. - delay possible?
Hi,
I have a midi drum kit, and the midi off signals are sent straight away after the on signal cutting the hit very short (under 10ms i guess). I can make this work in certain samplers that don't cut after the off signal is sent, but sequencers sometimes recieve the off signal too quick to even ...

Midi Drum triggers samples & rec but not overdub!
This is an odd one-
I bought a small midi drum kit, and when I plugged it all in i noticed a few oddities.
When I record a drum track it records fine, but when I click overdub it *occasionally* records one of the hits, but generally doesn't bother.
All the tracks are getting midi input correctly ...

Edit Clip while playing
Hi,
I'm looking to record some drums, edit them in sound forge and then reimport them as an audio loop - all in the middle of a set. (I don't want to use warp markers)
I can *almost* do this by editing the temp files ableton stores in the project folders, but the loops seem to be odd lengths and ...

Overwrite & Sustain Control Conflict!
hey there,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I've got my "sustain" pedal (1/64) assigned to "OVR" in live so i can overwrite on the fly, but while i'm overwriting it also activates the sustain in reason or absynth or whatever synth i'm using. (so every note i hit doesn't release until i release ...

Soundcards to use: Lexicon Omega?
Hi all..
I just took my new SB audigy back to the store so i could buy a lexicon omega for four times the price...
has anyone had any experience with these? it seems my au$179 audigy offered 20ms latency, 5 output channels (well 2 usable stereo outputs) and effectively 2 mono inputs (split line in ...
