Hi,
Completely out of the blue (Live10 Suite was working perfectly last night) I opened live today and I've lost all my plugins; default saved set and packs. Any ideas how I can refind them?
I'm using a 2014 Macbook Pro running Catalina.
Thanks

Re: Sudden unwanted key change in drum rack
I normally have the Push 2 controller connected to it:-is there a way the push 2 could be accidentally causing it and a way to reset?
Thanks in advance

Re: Sudden unwanted key change in drum rack
Thanks for the reply chrk.
Ive checked everywhere within the pack and cant find anything pointing towards frequency modulation. Its not just this though:-I'd also downloaded a soundpack from the soundpack pro site called Kloosless which used to work ok but for some reason this has also changed key ...

Sudden unwanted key change in drum rack
I did search first to see if I could find an answer btw.
This problems just started happening out of the blue so hopefully its something as simple as Ive accidentally changed a parameter somewhere and this has become a default.

Re: Pa speakers or studio monitors
Thanks for the replies,
I hear what you're saying but if you're producing music to be played live as backing tracks through a pa wouldn't it make more sense though to mix it through pa speakers in order to get the best possible sound for live. I understand that if you're mixing for other reasons ...

Re: Pa speakers or studio monitors
Thanks for the reply 102455,
not sure what pa speakers they are:-just average ones in the set up where I rehearse with this band I play in (I know they're nothing special). It was just a bit alarming how something I'd recorded in my home set up could sound so radically different:-to the point of ...

Pa speakers or studio monitors
At home my set up is Ableton on a macbook going through an audio interface then to studio monitors (tannoy reveals).

Re: Achieving Rave-type effect to standard loops
Yes owlmerlyn, getting lost in some real envelope madness. Also taking your advice about other editable parameters such as lives performance/dj f/x:-all the beat repeat type stuff yields surprising results. I come from a completely different musical perspective so it's really interesting for me to ...

Re: Achieving Rave-type effect to standard loops
Thats brilliant stuff there owlmerlyn! I'd never have discovered that low pass frequency thing left to my own devices:-no pun intended. Not sure why I have to go to arrangement view though as I can draw and edit these parameters in session view?

Thanks again:-not sure I know what you mean about the low pass filter-couldn't elaborate a bit could you?

Re: Achieving Rave-type effect to standard loops
Thanks for that owlmerlyn,
I've been looking at one of those novation remote zero controllers as that seems to have lots of scope for mapping specifically to ableton.
I checked those Kaoss pads out which also look amazing. I love the idea of setting up a standard kind of feel/melodic piece before ...

Achieving Rave-type effect to standard loops
Hi,
I've been learning to record loops on the fly using this method:-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwywxD4lDE
I'm using my guitar synth and doing lots of seventies type funk things which is hugely enjoyable however gets a little predictable after a while. Soooo I was thinking it'd be really great ...

Connecting a FCB1010?
Hi,
I've just got a fcb1010 which I want to use with live. I use a Tascam US1800 interface hooked up to a Macbook Pro. The US1800 has a midi in/out connection on the back. My question is am I better connecting the FCB1010 to the midi connections on the US1800 or via a usb port on the mac?
