Session View is the business. It's one of the main reasons I converted to Live. Then I started slipping into my old habits from Cubase/Reason/Reaper, going into Arrange too early.

Then I got the Launchpad! I was so into it I devised an ultra-quick way to bring a song back from Arrange and into ...

But, could it be that Ableton is waiting for the release of windows 8 before they finish their work on Live 9?

And if so (help me out here all of you software experts), how long does it usually take before big applications are adapted to OS changes? This might give us a hint on ...

I know it´s pretty major, but I would like Ableton to create a Melodyne-type of pitch correcting effect in Live.

Some of the competiting DAW:s have already implemented it; Sonar has its "V-voice", Cubase has it´s "VariAudio", Logic has it´s "Pitch Correction".

hi I have a pc and a saffire LE
latency 7 ms ..OK

now I bought Spectrasonic's Atmosphere cause I use a midi keyboard and....it completely crashes Live 6 (bought no crack)

latecy goes up to 12/13 ms... doesn't recognise midi input anymore...system slows down horrendously...
to the point I had to ...

Every sample is accessible as a wave-file. You can use them in every sampler there is.
