Browser Previewing: No Audio if Track level is -infinity
I have just learned about and have started to use the dragging individual tracks to the browser to create
Track Clip.als files.
However for DJing I always set my track level to -infinty so that when the
clips are in the Session view and i'm preview them there, i'm not accidently

Re: why do clips take SO long to preview & load?
Try creating seperate .als clips for each track.
I've found if i have a ableton set with 50 or so tracks in it that
it takes super long to drop them in (Scary long beach ball spins).
if I have a smaller session that i'm dragging the track from it's quicker.

Agree with Blackbob
Ableton Live is awesome for editing video.
It's warping capabilites work with video.
You can edit in beats and bars, not timecode.
I have edited multiple video tracks in Live
It will play the "bottommost" video track 1st
then go up the chain.

Re: 8.04 Crashes when rendering video
i think what ever causes Quicktime to "work hard" will make it run out of memory.
SO things like resizing, rescaling, mixed codec etc. may seem to do this.
that's why i suggest "bouncing" in smaller chunks.
check out a few of the final videos here:

Changing you Markers for multiple clips of same audio file
I have found that many of the audio tracks that I have been warping,
could use a bit of tightening up. But I have made say 5-8 clips per
audio track (for DJing use) and want to keep all the clip info (start/loop etc)
but I only want to re-warp the audio once and have it affect all the clips.

Metronome Click vs the Waveform
Hi,
So been playing with Albeton for a few months and have searched to no avail.
When lining up some of my warp markers to the metronome
i'd say about 90% of the time it "Looks Like" my warp markers
are behind the beat (as far as what my eye sees) but my ear hears
the metronome in time with the ...

Re: 8.04 Crashes when rendering video
YEs this worked...
Reducing the number of edits helps cut down on the memory.
Trying to "join" them in QT player didn't work.
I exported Bars 1-17 (1 bar out overlap)
then 16-34, 33-42 etc.
I named the export movies as such "movie A01, movie B16, movie C33 etc"
Then just drag them onto a new ...

Is there any way to trigger Video full screen without double clicking on the window?

been battling with this on v7.0.16
Like you i've got lots of video edits.
I tried exporting a session that had no or little edits and it exported fine.

Live 8 - Playing Video clips question
I was really hoping i could play Live video clips on the fly in the clip window in version 7.
But I discovered that video would only playback if clip were already layed down in the arrangement window.
Does anyone know if this has changed in Version 8?
I'd really love to be able to in a live ...
