So I'm new to the whole VST plug in thing. Can someone help me understand what VST's are compatible with Ableon on my Intel Mac.

Whats the best place to save clip/loops/samples in your library?

Does anyone know if it works with Live 6?

Or am I gonna have to go broke and get Live 8 and the APC?

I'm trying to use the buttons on the Nano Kontrol as track activators. The problem is when they are mapped, I hit the button and it only activates the track until I let go of the button. I'd like the mapping to activate the track when I hit it, and then deactivate when I hit a second time. It's not ...

i'm currently using the fcb1010 ableton, reason combo. I don't have any real latency issues. i've used hardware loopers(rc50-line6-boomerang) in the past and i find they get out of time more so than ableton. with much less control.

I would like to set ableton so it can jump to differnet beats with in a clip? I'm not even sure what that is called? I would liike to know. Anyone smart enough and kind enough to answer? And understand what I mean?

i not getting anything when i press the pedal. i can midi map my axion keys/knobs etc. just fine but nothing from the FCB.???

My MIDI prefs in live are:
preferences/midi sync/ control surface Axiom/input Axiom USB/output Axiom USB

i've programmed bank 1 to send midi notes 1 through 10. i've also programmed the fcb to channel 13. ableton is still not reading it however. :roll:

i have it daisy chained midi out to midi in of my axiom. the usb to my mac. the axiom is programmed to channel 13 also.

so i'm officially confused ...
