Theres all this absolute and relative stuff. None of them have and ajoining window for db settings. I hate to seem like a dumba** but can someone please tell me whats up ???

How do I midi assign ableton track volumes to not go all the way up (100%)and peak out.

I got Warp off in prefrences. I load up a song. Turn Warp back on. Usually I have no markers yellow except 1. Sometimes I have 1 million yellow warp markers. Do I have a bug ? Why does this happen. Please help.

So when PRO-TOOLS users use LIVE they never use LIVE as a mic/line recorder ? They only use it for it's special abilities ?
I guess i'll have to learn some simple PRO TOOLS techniques and use the power of REWIRE.

Im working in a pro-tools studio but i dont know how to use pro-tools. I wanna use LIVE but the soundcard they got is a DIGIDESIGN 8x8x8 24bit I/O. Will LIVE work independently with the 8x8x8 .

In LIVE 5 there was an EDIT button that took your clip directly to SOUNDFORGE (or your editor of choice). In LIVE 6 there is no button. Where is it hiding ?

I guess i'll try opening it up and sodering it. Whats the worst that can happen, the USB output doesnt work anymore and i have to go MIDI out.

The USB outputs on both my o2 and trigger finger have become loose connections. They never even leave my studio. There hardly even moved. It sucks to have these pieces dissconect because of a sh**ty USB output and everytime it does i need to re-start LIVE to get it working again, and then it happens ...

My Mackie Actives (SRM450) keep clipping out and shutting off. The volume in the back of them is at 50% and the master volume on my mixer is only at 75%, but these speakers keep getting hot, going into protect mode and shutting off.

Im speaking from the LOW END of the spectrum. A maximum of $300 is what I have to spend on an orchestra vst. Im into the GPO given the $200 price tag and if anyone says it runs circles around the EIC my moneys going to Gary G not SoniVox.

I was told by a great engineer that 24bit 44.1 is the way to go.

I record at 24bit & a 48.0 sampling rate
When I bounce everything to a stero mix I need to dither it to 16bit & 44.1, so i can make it red book standard, burn it to a cd or make an mp3. Thats where the hi end frequency hiss comes from.
What do I do ?
