Launch Live 12.1.11, go into Arrangement mode, drag an iPhone video file into a track.

Requesting new follow action or new clip behaviour in Session View:
When clip finished playing the looped part it should continue playing the parts that are in the clip, after the loop, all the way till the End Marker is set.
This would make sense when there are parts in the clip after the loop ...

If I understand your question correctly, at least part of the answer is to make it possible to do stuff in Session view that includes launching clips, recording material into new clips, and generally messing around, thus yielding a live performance; and while that performance is going on, to record ...

You can lock Push to a device (right-click the device's header and you'll see the option).
But if you're talking about P3S here, then there's no way currently.

Aha! Your suggestion sent me in the right direction, though it didn't quite get me there. The trick is that you have to press the second button above the jog wheel TWICE. The first press gets you to the mixer view; subsequent presses toggle between the mixer view and a menu of more detailed options ...

Suppose I have a MIDI controller (such as a keyboard) connected to the Push USB input. Is there a way to have that controller send MIDI to one track while the Push built-in pads send MIDI to another track? I want to be able to play more than one sound at a time.

I reported the problem to Ableton Support, who informed me that the xPort driver is an internal debugging tool that is not distributed along with Push. Therefore, the missing xPort driver is a normal phenomenon.
