I think - as a longtime MaxMSP-User and still beginner - your aim shouldn't be to build the same stuff you get for free or littel money all over the market. Don't try to copy the same functionality or sound you get out of millions of synths, fx and presets.

Just start to programm a littel patch ...

Again, with reference to simillar threads on the forum,

It could simply be your hardware exceleration, I found clciks/pops and dropouts most when moving between 2 monitors. I do sometimes get it now, but I have a very simple studio laptop, with 2gb memory and single core 2.3ghz processor.

I'm trying to say, whatever sound card wether it be internal, (ok upgraded, internal) or external.

You have settings for when live is runing and settings for your operating system on your pc (windows xp/Vista or 7). You should be able to choose ASIO for ...

Ok,

Maybe something like this though, your pointer has settings, hardware acceleration can be adjusted to compencate for this as well, and you could look at the speed settings for this also jsut in case.

If we do some A/B comparisons with my set up, I'm affraid I don't have the same set up, but if we do some preference exchanging, we might be able to seperate the issues out. You may have one or more isssue going on at once here.

On pc call up your windows audio device manager ...

Yeah,

Just un install each component from through your library tab in preferences just the packs you really don't want of course.

I'm assumeing you mean Collision, Operator, Tension, and the others, Not impulse and maybe not Sampler.
