if you have the option to only install the barebone wdm driver (without the included asio, because having two asio drivers will cause glitch. even more so with the needy emu (partner of creative).

try,, search for "asio" files & folders and remove all asio "DLL" files (loc in windows/system32 ...

a compressor with TRS (RNC 1773) going into "channel insert" on a mixer will limit\prevent clipping\distortion when using for eg the mic pre`s on the mixer?

or do i need a seperate preamp for that???

dont.. put the money of the repair towards a cheap CeleronM and get a whole lot more.

i try to get this card working with only the WDM driver together with asio4all and got intermittent spikes crackles pops.

i try with minimal installation driver only with Creative ASIO. same. spikes..

i install the complete drivers with all the shit that comes with it and i still got the spikes ...

im realy dumb with key changes (in compositions) maybe this program can help in some way... mmm..
