in session is an option I'd like to see. I dont want to have to fiddle with the startmarker to crop, because i spent enough time setting it where it is to give my loop the proper offset. especially when I turned off snap to grid to make minute adjustments.
thanks.

Effect tweaking wishes
hi,
there's two things I'd wish to see for the effects section ..
- A/B button
When doing subtle changes to the EQ for instance, I often find it hard to tell if the new setting really sounds better than the old one, as there is no quick way to get back to the setting i started off from. That's ...

its no surprise rosettas performance sucks, it emulates a G3 processor at a much lower speed than the processor its running on. results may vary, but from what i read anything realtime is out of question.

maybe it wont be a silly video ipod on the 12th, but something slightly more interesting:
"The event, Think Secret has learned, will not usher in the much rumored video iPod but rather new PowerBook and Power Mac systems."

Im sure you are clean as far as FLAC goes. Converting an audiofile between WAV and FLAC a zillion times times back and forth will not have any effect on the audioquality. Its like ZIPing a bunch of textfiles (or whatever), u can zip and unzip them as often as u want, there's no loss of information ...

I compared VST and AU Effects (not Instr) in live4 some time ago. i noticed that when AU Effects were present but turned off, they still consumed a little cpu, like 1%. this became annoying when having 10 fx off to save cpu still used 10% cpu. VST effects on the other hand consumed nothing when off ...

i sincerely wish you find another way to treat your angst, because aggressive and pointless posts like yours makes searching for actual information on forums a nuisance. when i quit smoking, chewing carrots helped me getting through the day. doing exercise is even better i suppose. good luck with it.

hi,
i assume when you say usb you mean usb2.0? i think mouse, floppy and dongles will run without probs on any hub since theyre not timing critical nor cause much traffic. I use mouse, dongle and motu midi onterface on a noname usb1.1 hub connected to the usb2.0 port of my laptop without a problem ...
