Picked it up. I've always wanted to get Symphobia but thought it was it bit overkill for what I needed. So this got me pretty pumped. The Project Sam sound for 99 bucks. So far so good but one issue I have is that "String ensemble all" pops or clicks a lot. I have 2.3 GHz intel macbook pro with 4 ...

All my samples now have the AutoSampler logo instead of the default Abelton live one.
Maybe it's just changing the little icon but is this a problem? Also is there a way to disable this?

Maybe I'm not explaining right but in session view I just wish to grab a clip or audio file and drag it to the browser and into a folder without it then creating a project folder and a few other sub folders?

I think this started with 7 but I have been using live since 4 and I used to be able to ...

I loved being able to create loops by building them up and resampling, fx, warps and then simply drag the loop(clip) into a folder I have designated for my loops. I forget when it started but now Live always creates a project folder and sample folders and I don't want all that.

Anyway do disable ...

I just picked one up this weekend and had the same issue with the raised faceplate. Was gonna return it but I just put a little crazy glue under it and it did the trick. Although admittedly, I still want to take it back just cause I am OCD like that and it still bothers me. :cry:

I did a horrible job describing the issue I'm sure.

Lets say i have a rack that i made and i set up the 8 macro knobs to control 8 different parameters.
I record first twidiling macro 1, now when i put it in overdub and try to record automation using macro 2 it erases macro 1's automation line?

Am i missing something or is this not possible?
