Live itself is a great audio editor. I dedicate a track to this purpose. When I need to do destructive editing, I drag the file to that track, solo it, do the processing, freeze, drag to flatten, done. IMO much easier and much more comfortable than opening the file in an external editor.

If you feel limited by only having 3 File Browsers buttons to use, this tip may help.

It's very simple. Just create shortcuts to the folders that you want to be able to browse to.

Then create a folder and put these shortcuts in it.
