I went with the Yohng's W1 Limiter and the BBE sonic maximizer, then after I render I bounce down with T-Racks. Sounds great!! :) At first my levels were TOO loud, even though very clear. I had to reduce the levels a bit.

Getting back to the "no relationship between Saddam and Bin Laden" we can start with this: The 9/11 Report states that: 1. Richard Clark, former Clinton terrorism czar, testified that Iraq cooperated on chemical weapons with terrorists, including Al Qaeda, and he speculated to Sandy Berger, Clinton ...

To get back on topic: The Provo Daily Herald has a reasoned and balanced take on the incident, questioning both attendees and law enforcement: "Some attendees have complained of excessive force by law enforcement. They say cops and "soldiers" pointed guns at them, punched girls in the face and unlea...

On the subject of the best mac for Live use...

Now that we all know about the coming wintel mac, what is the best setup for Live use for gigs? Most of you seem to be torn between the imac G5 and the powerbook or ibook. It will probably be awhile until the wintel machines come out so what is the best system until then? Obviously Sasha has been us...

Yeah I was mixing last night and the audio dropped for about 2-3 seconds- the signal was still going as evidenced by the levels but no audio...NOT cool!

Live seems much more unstable than 4. I am not too sure about using 5 for gigs yet. :(

Yeah the war in Iraq is really ruining things here in America. Restriction of civil liberties? Which liberties are being restricted exactly? You can no longer go to the terminal to meet people at the airport, that is true...what oppression!! I carry a gun legally every day, what oppression!! ...

I was referring to the general music community having a definite tendency towards "liberal" thought, and by that I mean modern liberalism, not classic liberalism- big differance. Just take a look at all the anti-Bush themed concerts during the elections. It always makes me think of Monty Python's Ho...

Anyone using the m-audio LX4 5.1 monitors?

http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/LX421System-main.html They seem like a good deal, you can add the surrounds for pretty cheap too. I have had BX5's in the past and they were decent. This system looks like it might make a good bedroom mixing system. Anyone heard them? I want to work on some 5.1 ...

Why is it that the largest threads on the ABLETON LIVE forum are bickering about politics, which frankly musicians generally know jack squat about? "If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Bec...

Funny you should find that quote, he couldn't be more right. Do you know your history sir? If you do you know that arabs enslaved Africans and sold them to the west first. Also, if you STILL think Saddam had no connections to terrorists then there is no point discussing this furthur with you. Have y...
