i've been using an mpd32 to control the crossfader in ableton but i wanted to try to get my midi from the djm talking to live so i can use that crossfader instead. because well...it's a REAL crossfader. anyway... one touch of the crossfader on the mixer crashes live. anybody else experience anything ...

thanks for the responses, but the machine i work on has no internet connection, therefore no AV software. it's optimized for recording. no indexing service either. that's one of the first things that gets disabled along with system restore. after i posted this, the rebuild finally finished...it took ...

seriously? wow. i'm on my 24th hour of a live 8 suite library rebuild. why the f#$@ does it take so long????????????????? is there a plan to fix this. might have to move BACKWARDS to cubase SX and reason slave. not cool.

hp lappy with 3 GB of ram and dual procs.
