Rewire between two computers?

Is it possible to use ableton as a "vst" in pro tools?

We're currently working on a project in pro tools (computer 1 on pro tools, computer 2 on ableton), and we're using a lot of ableton drums and bass - however, we're just recording these as pure audio, and this kinda limits our editing ...

How do I change chords in a small midi sequence I'm recording?

I wanna go fra D3 playing the "fifth" chord preset to C3 in the "house for to go" preset. .
Since the midi effect cabinet only holds one chordeffect per track, I don't know what to do.

Where did my instrument rack go??

Here's one for ya.. .

I have all my instrument rack presets in the menu - but when i choose them - they all complain about "samples missing" - I can then choose to let it "auto search" for the missing samples - this sometimes work other times not.
I've reinstalled both impulse and the basics pack ...

very basic version:

k • • k • • s •

k • • k • • s •

k = kick
s = snare
• = hihat

just copy one line and repeat throughout the part. works in 4/4, around 115 bpm, but feel free to mess with it.

## How to figure out the dub / deatbeat type of rhythm??? ##

How do I record this rhythm?? (take for ex. the tracks on http://www.myspace.com/deadbeatcomputermusic)

I can't make the : drum drum (snare) drum drum - reegae type of rhythm in the normal 4/ 4 (2 bars) setting....

I've found out that i achieve some of what I wan't by making my small midi ...
